Project Story
The Challenge
The bathroom was stuck in the early 2000s with a tiled-in tub nobody used, a single vanity that could not accommodate a couple's morning routine, and poor ventilation that led to persistent moisture issues. The homeowners wanted a modern, minimalist space with double sinks and a proper walk-in shower.
Our Approach
We removed the tub and reconfigured the plumbing to accommodate a floating double vanity with dual vessel sinks and a spacious frameless glass shower. The design is intentionally monochrome — white vanity, matte black fixtures, and dark tile accents in the shower create a crisp, high-contrast look. Under-vanity storage baskets keep essentials accessible without cluttering the clean lines. We also addressed the ventilation with a proper exhaust system.
The Result
The bathroom now feels twice as large despite being the same square footage. The floating vanity creates visual breathing room, and the frameless shower makes the entire space feel open. Both homeowners finally have their own sink, which they joked was the real reason for the renovation. Completed in just under four weeks.
