Project Story

The Challenge

The original kitchen was white-on-white with laminate countertops and dated appliances — functional but completely devoid of personality. The homeowner wanted a kitchen that made a statement and felt warm enough for everyday cooking, not just a showpiece. The layout was decent, so the goal was a visual transformation within the existing footprint.

Our Approach

We designed around a bold navy blue cabinetry palette that immediately set the tone. A handmade zellige tile backsplash adds texture and artisan character, while quartz countertops keep the surfaces durable and low-maintenance. We installed a farmhouse apron-front sink for both style and function, and paired everything with a professional stainless steel range and hood. Warm hardwood floors ground the rich color scheme.

The Result

The kitchen went from bland to the most photographed room in the home. The zellige backsplash catches light differently throughout the day, giving the space a living quality the homeowner did not expect. Friends and family constantly ask who designed it. We completed the remodel in about three weeks with minimal disruption to the household.
