3D design is included when it appears in the signed Barcci Builders design-build scope. Deliverables, revision rounds, standalone design fees, and any exclusions are documented in the proposal; ask the project team to confirm what applies to your project.
How accurate are the 3D renderings?
Renderings are based on measured conditions and the materials available during design. They help compare layouts and selections, but screens, lighting, natural materials, product substitutions, tolerances, and field conditions can make the completed work differ from the image. Approved construction documents and the signed scope control the build.
How many design revisions are included?
We include up to 3 revision rounds in our standard design process. Most clients finalize their design within 2 rounds. Additional revisions are available if needed.
Can I see multiple design options?
Absolutely. We typically present 2-3 initial concepts with different styles, layouts, or color palettes. This helps you compare options and combine elements you love from each.
What software do you use for 3D renderings?
We use industry-leading 3D visualization software that produces photorealistic results indistinguishable from photographs. Our renderings include accurate natural and artificial lighting, real material textures from manufacturer libraries, and true-to-scale proportions based on laser measurements of your actual space. The technology has advanced dramatically — today's renderings are light-years beyond the basic sketches many contractors still rely on.
How does 3D design reduce project costs?
3D visualization can expose layout conflicts and unresolved selections while changes are still being documented. It does not eliminate change orders or guarantee savings: concealed conditions, owner changes, agency requirements, availability, and scope gaps can still affect cost. The signed agreement defines pricing and change-order terms.
Can I use the 3D renderings if I decide not to proceed with construction?
Ownership, permitted uses, file delivery, and any standalone design fee depend on the signed design agreement. Ask Barcci to identify those terms before work begins if you may use the design with another builder.
How long does the 3D design process take?
The complete design process takes 2–4 weeks from initial measurement to approved final renderings. We present initial concepts within 7–10 days of measurement, and most clients finalize their design after 1–2 revision rounds over the following 1–2 weeks. For whole-house remodels with multiple rooms, the design process may extend to 4–6 weeks to ensure every space is fully developed.
Do you provide design-only services without construction?
Our primary focus is design-build, where we design and construct your project under one roof. However, we occasionally offer standalone design packages for clients who need architectural plans and 3D renderings but plan to use a different builder.
